SUMMARY

Forth is leading the transformation of the transportation industry in the PNW and beyond into a clean, electric, and shared infrastructure. As part of this Forth runs the Electric Showcase, the first EV test drive and showroom in the U.S.

Part of the challenge Forth currently faces is getting people in the door. To do this requires a simple, compelling story to entice potential consumers to the project. 

The following proposal outlines a consumer data story that Forth can use as an inbound lead engine to market the project and drive outcomes.

Specific objectives Forth has for this project include:

  • Increase consumer interest in the Electric Showcase to get more people in the door
  • Communicate the EV value proposition through a simple story
  • Provide a visual, data-rich explainer for EV Total Cost of Ownership 
  • Meet and exceed project milestones set out for U.S. DOE (including sponsor cost-share)


EIMPACT DELIVERABLES

eImpact is solely focused on helping industry associations drive outcomes with simple data stories. Our technology makes it easy to bring together the data needed to tell the story, while producing web-based reports that are interactive and engaging.

Here are our key deliverables for the Electric Showcase:

  • Collect and upload data on EV vs. traditional combustion cars, sufficient to output Total Cost of Ownership (maintenance, gasoline, rebates/incentives)
  • Produce consumer-facing online data story including all visualizations and charts
  • Host online report on secure cloud server
  • Provide social sharing and website embed tools to disseminate the report
  • Provide technical support to Forth

  • Part 1: On-boarding
    • Identify data sources and key metrics
    • Set up and load data 
  • Part 2: Report Creation
    • Create data story draft
    • Collect feedback from Forth team
    • Make updates based on feedback and deploy
  • Part 3: Training 
    • Report social sharing tools to "get the story out"

Timeline: 2-3 weeks from start to going live
